During a festival from Resembool Hohenheim converses with a young Pinako, who asks him why he remains closed from all the villagers. In the same time, he faces a demon identical to him talks to him about the humans’ weakness, as the story so far is recapped. In the end, Hohenheim finds encouragement from a young Trisha, and he wakes up to discover it was all a dream as a result of drinking too much alcohol.
